UCM produces fully automatic ultra-fine cleaning equipment based on ultrasonic technology. Our systems are purpose-designed to meet optical industry standards. They incorporate special fixtures matched to the dimensions and properties of the parts to be cleaned. Drying is achieved by infrared light, hot filtered air, or vacuum.
Cleaning system for precision optics
This ultrasonic cleaning line with eight cleaning and rinsing tanks, infrared drying and automatic conveying equipment provides zero-particle cleaning of optical components prior to vacuum coating. The tanks are operated in a 40 / 80 Hz multifrequency mode. The line is controlled by a PLC system featuring up to 16 different programs as well as an LCD program and plant visualization screen.
In the rinsing, drying and discharge section, the parts are protected from re-contamination by a laminar flow of particle-free ultraclean air.
