Micro- and precision optics

UCM manufactures fully automatic fine cleaning machines, specifically adapted to the needs and requirements of the optical engineering industry. This includes specific take-up systems, individually designed for the size and characteristics of the workpiece to be cleaned. The parts may be dried using infrared light, filtered hot air or vacuum processes.


Example of a cleaning machine for cleaning prior to inspection

  • Contamination: lacquer, putty, pitch, polishing compound, wax
  • Cleaning prior to inspection
  • 7 tanks (3 x cleaning, 2 x rinsing, 2 x DI water rinsing)
  • Capacity: approx. 10 batches per hour
  • Dryer: Infrared light
  • Equipment: Ultrasonics (40 kHz and 40/80kHz), Lift-out
